Booking Terms and Conditions for Skylarks Chalet

  1. A completed booking form and non-refundable deposit of £60 per week booked must be received by us to secure the reservation.
  2. The balance is due by 28 days before the arrival date. If this is not paid then we reserve the right to re-let and to treat your booking as cancelled.
  3. If you cancel within 28 days of the start of your holiday you are still liable for the full cost of the holiday, regardless of the reason for .cancellation. We will endeavour to re-let on your behalf and return some monies to you if we are able to do so. We recommend that you purchase holiday insurance.
  4. If we are unable to provide the booked holiday and have had to cancel your booking before the holiday is due to start, you are entitled to a full refund of any money you have paid to us for this booking. This is the extent of our liability.
  5. Details of all persons occupying the chalet must be given on the booking form. These are the only persons that are permitted to use the facilities in the chalet for the duration of your stay. At least one of the occupants must be over 18 years and there is a maximum of four persons.
  6. The keys to the accommodation are available from 16.00 until 22.00 on the day of arrival. Departure is by 10.00.
  7. Please treat the accommodation and its contents with respect and care. On departure the chalet should be left clean and tidy with rubbish deposited in the outside waste bin. Keys must be returned to reception. Please notify us of any issues with the property or any breakages so that we can remedy them as soon as possible. Any damage, breakages, losses or excessive cleaning required, must be paid for by the person who has booked the holiday.
  8. No smoking or pets are allowed in the chalet.
  9. An off-ground barbecue is is permitted in the garden but firepits/open fires are not allowed. You may use the communal firepit on the campsite if you wish (weather dependant).
  10. 5mph speed limit on site for all vehicles.
  11. Electric vehicle charging from the chalet is not permitted. Details of local charging facilities can be obtained from reception.
  12. Please respect the staff, your camping neighbours and other residents by being considerate to them. After 22,00 please keep noise to a minimum.
  13. Although we avoid it if at all possible, it may sometimes be necessary to carry out essential maintenance during your stay. We reserve the right to enter the chalet or its garden at any time in order to facilitate this or if there is any other cause for concern.
  14. Liability: We shall not be liable for the death or injury of any person howsoever caused, illness, inconvenience or misadventure.
    Your vehicles, their contents and accessories, your luggage and personal belongings are left entirely at your own risk. We will not be held responsible for any loss of or damage to or theft of property including vehicles and boats.
    We shall not be liable for the unavailability of any service or facility, and any inconvenience or financial loss incurred, if it is due to circumstances beyond the control of the management.
  15. Problems: If you have a complaint, issue or problem during your holiday please raise it with us immediately so that we can sort it out promptly before it spoils your holiday. We are always available to help.
